❓ Common Questions

When do CBSE Class 10 board exams start?

CBSE Class 10 board exams typically begin in mid-February and conclude by late March. The date sheet is released in December. Exams are held from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Is NCERT enough to score 90%+ in Class 10?

For most subjects, yes — 70-80% of board exam questions come directly from NCERT. The remaining 20-30% test application and higher-order thinking, which you can prepare for with sample papers and previous year questions. NCERT + 10 sample papers is the proven formula for 90%+.

How many hours should a Class 10 student study daily?

Quality over quantity. 4-5 focused hours daily (including school/coaching time) is sufficient. More important than hours: consistency. Studying 4 hours every day for 6 months beats cramming 12 hours in the last month.
